Norman Samuels Trio

A new sound is taking shape.

The Norman Samuels Trio has a new line-up. Willem Jansen joins on piano, alongside Norman Samuels on fretless bass and Peter Jan van Kaam on drums. Norman’s compositions remain at the heart of the music, with room for this new combination to find its own direction.

The trio is working on a new record, with recording sessions planned for 2027. Familiar ideas are shifting; new material is beginning to emerge. The rest will have to wait a little longer.
